DrinkAde- Taking The Whine Out of Wine

Living in New York City, you’re forced to have energy all the time. At all times. If you’re like me and work in the Fashion World (like many New Yorkers do), you also have to look your best because you’re either representing a brand or trying to close a deal. So, what happens when you’ve had one too many drinks the night before? Being 33 years old, working a full-time job (that I commute an hour to), and dabbling in the wine world after hours, I experience intense grogginess and headaches the morning after drinking 3-4 glasses of wine. I find myself “off my game” and unable to make it to the gym after work or on the weekends. Those dark circles don’t help either.

Enter DrinkAde.

Hangovers essentially happen because of a few things. First, alcohol is a diuretic which causes intense dehydration, and second, there are major toxic compounds that irritate the stomach and cause us to feel majorly nauseous. So, how can DrinkAde help?

First, we need to understand exactly what it is. To put it simply, DrinkAde is a vitamin blend with natural ingredients that help neutralize toxins and rehydrate the body. The perfectly curated combination of aloe vera, B vitamins, gotu kola, green tea extract, milk thistle, and potassium work together to combat those terrible hangover symptoms and give us the boost we need to make it through the day feeling energized.

DrinkAde produces with two different formulas to fit everyone’s needs. The first is called Prevention (no added caffeine), and the second is called Boost (prevention and/or recovery formula with caffeine and double B-12). A few weeks ago, I had an unexpected girl’s night where my best friend commuted into Manhattan from East Northport, Long Island. Not only did she make the commute, but she’s the mom of a one year old, and if you have kids, you know how hard it is to get a night out! I knew it was time to put DrinkAde to test. I followed the instructions exactly and took the 4oz Prevention bottle before meeting her at the bar. The taste was quite light…almost as if you were drinking a sports drink. During our adventures, I had 1 beer and 3 glasses of wine in a span of 3 1/2 hours.

Normally I would wake up super late in the morning and order a sausage, egg & cheese after a night of drinking, but with DrinkAde I was able to get up at a reasonable hour and not feel like I was kissed by the angel of death! My mouth didn’t feel like sandpaper from dehydration, and surprisingly there was no sign of a headache! Although I felt way better than I normally would, I was definitely still tired. I’m a huge coffee drinker, so I thought trying out the Boost would be a great alternative. To my delight, after about 35 minutes, I felt a nice kick that cleared out my remaining grogginess. Because of DrinkAde I could get in a run that day…a slow run, but considering I would’ve skipped it altogether, I consider it a huge win!

If you’re like me and have to maintain a career, family, fitness, and passion for wine, there is no time for hangover symptoms. With the Holidays approaching quickly, I would highly recommend having DrinkAde readily available to hand out to your party guests! Where can you find this little life-saver?
